My Great God
My God is so great,
How blessed I am,
My Shepherd is He,
And also my Lamb.
Died He for me,
That I may live,
All of my life,
In service to give.
Cleansed by His blood,
Forgiven sin,
O that I would,
His esteem win.
Released to walk,
A life so free,
From every sin,
That besets me.
Day by each day,
Master I ask,
Show me the way,
Bless my each task.
Let me no more
Boast in my flesh,
Thou my own glory,
And righteousness.
