Repentance And Praise
Make my heart, O God, to be,
A place of joy by day and night;
A pleasant dwelling place for Thee,
Through life’s abundant depth and height.
May there always be within,
A grateful song, a psalm of praise,
A hate for every kind of sin,
A love for good and lovely ways.
Of all my old and shameful ways,
I repent with all my heart,
And now upon Thy radiance gaze,
With thanks within my every part.
Who can be as great as Thee?
Who can match Thy boundless good?
O may my ways forever be,
Every bit Thou wished it would.
