Covid-19 Blues
The days when I, would drive to work –
Are they forever gone?
Must I now simply, work from home,
And gaily sing a song?
I never thought, the conf’rence room,
Would become obsolete;
And that the world, would say that ‘Zoom’
Is now the place to meet!
The daily trek, I made at noon,
To lunch with Tim and Joe –
Why did it have to pass so soon,
Just like the poor dodo?
Yet, in the grander, scheme of things,
The crisis is far worse;
For Marvel now, has got to fix,
Its entire multiverse!
Its movies make, the villains big,
And paint their muscles strong;
But tiny things, kill just as quick –
Good grief – Stan Lee was wrong!
